About Bonnie

Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, Bonnie graduated with a BFA in illustration and design. After arriving in the Colorado Rockies, she started her career in the commercial field of T-shirt designs and book illustration before moving on to the world of fine art with gallery showings and commissions. Her subject matter includes mountain scenes, wildlife, western, local points of interest, home renderings and portraiture. She has also spent the last 15 years painting murals and carving bas relief sculpture in private homes and businesses. Bonnie was profiled in the 2001 Breckenridge and Summit magazines. She painted the back drop portrait murals for the Lutheran Synod conference of 2003, and was invited to hang the same pieces at a peace conference in Italy in September 2004. Bonnie also won the prestigious 2004 Bach Beethoven and Breckenridge poster competition for the Breckenridge Music Institute.

In addition to her originals, Bonnie produces Giclee and limited edition prints from her oil, acrylic and pastel paintings that are available on this web site. She also offers affordable prints, posters and cards of many of the same images that will remind you of the beauty that Colorado has to offer. “I have gone through many transformations with my work living and painting in the Rocky Mountains for the past 23 years. It is inspiring and beautiful here and I have loved every minute of it!”
Please contact her through this web site for credit card purchases, more information, or with any questions you may have on commissioned art or mural work.
